On Sunday, July 16th, cross the seas (or the street!) and visit the Museum to meet some of the first settlers of New York! This weekend’s living historians, the Scions of Patria, are an educational and historical Re-enactment group based in the Hudson Valley who portrays the Dutch people of New Netherland from 1600 to 1775. Listen to stories about life in New Amsterdam, take a close look at their 17th-century clothing, and explore some of their common, everyday tools and accessories!
