Did you know that Thanksgiving became a national holiday during the American Civil War? Stop by the Museum on Friday to celebrate with Living Historians from the 119th New York State Volunteer Infantry, a troop of Civil War reenactors. Examine their 19th-century uniforms up close, learn a military drill, explore some of their fascinating gear, or ask them what a common soldier might have eaten for Thanksgiving dinner over 150 years ago!
