On October 27, 1917—101 years ago!—thousands of women marched through New York City to drum up one last measure of support for women’s suffrage before it was put to a vote on Election Day! Join Living Historians portraying suffragists from the early 20th century to celebrate the anniversary of this incredible effort in activism.
Listen to stories about their contributions to the battle for the ballot, take a close look at their 1900s wardrobe and special parade accessories, and discover what it was like to canvass the city for voters. You can even make a pin-on suffrage cockade to show and wear your support!
