This month at Sunday Story Time we are learning about artists who lived in New York. Georgia O’Keefe was known for her colorful flowers and New York and New Mexico landscapes.  As we read Through Georgia’s Eyes we will learn about Georgia’s childhood and what influenced her to be an artist.  Afterward we will create pop-up flowers from paper that are a bright and colorful like Georgia O’Keefe’s work.

Through Georgia’s Eyes written by Rachel Rodriguez and Illustrated by Julie Paschkis, 2006.
