Edith Malvina Keteltas, the daughter of Eugene Keteltas of New York, married George Wetmore on December 23, 1869. Her husband was elected governor of Rhode Island in 1885 and served one term; he was elected a U.S. senator in 1895 and held that office until 1913.

Annie Raynor was the daughter of James A. Raynor, once the president of Erie Railroad. Her husband, who was a director and at one time president of the Fairbanks Company, maker of scales, died in Paris in 1926. The Wellses maintained homes in New York and Newport, R.I.; Mrs. Wells sold their fashionable estate, Chetwode, at Newport to John Jacob Astor III the year before her death.

Clara V. Wright was married to Henry Pennington Tailer (d. 1918), a banker, on June 2, 1892. The Tailers maintained a residence at Sands Point, Long Island.

Carolyn Kane May was the daughter of John Frederick May. She married William Merritt Wright on December 29, 1881.

Caroline Murray, daughter of Bronson and Anna (Peyton) Murray, was born in Ottawa, Illinois. She married Lucius K. Wilmerding of New York in 1876. During most of his career her husband was a merchant, but in 1919 he became a partner in teh Stock Exchange firm of Gray & Wilmerding; he died in 1922.

Sarah Morris Fish was the eldest daughter of Hamilton Fish. In 1860 she was married to Sidney Webster, a lawyer who had served as private secretary to President Franklin Pierce (1853-57); that same year her husband moved his law practice from Boston to New York. Mr. and Mrs. Webster were socially prominent in New York and Newport, R.I.

Mary Welsh Randolph (ca. 1870-1962) of Philadelphia was married to F. Egerton Webb, a New York banker, in 1890.

Harriette Mott Coulter, the daughter of Samuel Coulter, married John Hobart Warren (d. 1908), an iron manufacturer of Troy, New York, on November 16, 1874. Mr. and Mrs. Warren were art collectors; she left several 19th-century European paintings and two Flemish tapestries to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Sally Pendleton was the daughter of Elisha Boyd and Lucinda (Tutt) Pendleton of Berkeley County, Va. On April 26, 1865, she was married to Eugene Van Rensselaer (1840-1925) in Baltimore. He was the youngest of eleven children of Stephen Van Rensselaer, tenth patroon and eighth lord of the manor.

Marian L. Morris of Philadelphia was married to John Borland Thayer in the early 1890s. Her husband, a vice-president and director of the Pennsylvania Railroad, was lost on the "Titanic," which struck an iceberg on April 14, 1912. Mrs. Thayer and her son, John, Jr., who were also aboard, were rescued.
