Description:
A large pinback campaign button divided horizontally into red, white and blue sections printed with "I Like Ike" across the white center section. Dwight David Eisenhower, "Ike", (1890-1969) -- Republican; general in the U.S. Army during World War II; President of the United States, 1953-61; President of Columbia University 1948-53; and from 1971 to 1978, his portrait appeared on the U.S. dollar coin.

Description:
A wood case covered in black, leather grained textured paper, with a leather handle and metal clasp. Inside are many divided wood compartments each designed to hold a "Lantern" slide with an advertising theme. Eighteen slides remain in the box, 13 from a store in Trenton, Illinois, "Ginzel Mercantile Co." for clothes and household items, 4 from "The Geo. Brummer's & Sons Co.", and one from "E.R. Forbush/ Jeweler", for "The Hamilton Watch/ The Railroad Timekeeper Of America", with a photograph of two railroad engineers standing by a train and a larger image of a watch. The 13 from Ginzel include 6 for underware "Kabo/ 'The Live Model Corset'/ up to $5"; "W. B. Laced-in-Front Corsets"; "W.B. Brassieres and Corsets"; "Buy Dixie Hosiery/ Fast Color/ A Good Run For Your Money" with a cartoon of a very steroetyped African American woman chasing two boys; Stephenson Underware/ The little man will wear it someday/ because it satisfies Daddy", next to a photo of a man in a union suit and toddler playing with blocks; and "Dixie Underware/ For Men Women and Children". Two advertising accessories "Lion Hats", and "Do Your Feet Ache?/ ...Scholl's Foot-Eazers, Appliances and Remedies for the relief and correction of all foot ills...".Three for household items "Buckeye Incubators/ Guaranteed To Hatch Every Hatchable Egg"; "Lester Pianos"; and "Try Conkey's Fly Knocker/ 15 Days". The last two from Ginzel feature comic strip characters "Mutt & Jeff", both advertising wallpaper. Three from Geo. Brummer's Sons Co. advertise fashions from Hart, Schaffner & Marx, for example, "We'll show you the new fall/ styles by Hart Schaffner & Marx", and one from "Economize by Wearing Dutchess Trousers/ With Last Season's Coat and Vest."

Description:
A cigar cutter attached to a base with a oil reservoir for a lantern next to figurine of a tall lamp post embossed on one side "Broadway" and on the other "Fulton St.", that probably once had a glass finial at the top. The base is embossed and highlighted in red "Smoke EYE Cigars/ SS Sleeper & Co./ Factory Boston", and has two holes for inserting the tips of cigars and a lever for activating the cutting blades inside.

Description:
A rectangular silver painted cast metal and wood store display dispenser with an embossed frame around a glass window above the coin slot and a spring loaded lever on the side embossed "Push Down" for activating. The words "Owl Vender" are embossed between the coin slot and dispenser opening along with a five point star encircled by radiating rays. A paper label on the glass window reads "To Operate/ Drop Penny in Slot, Push Down Lever/ Slowly To Get Full Measure."

A tiny clear plastic packet printed on the front with the light and dark blue "M" on a white field is the old symbol of the MTA, Manhattan Transit Authority, over the words in red "Please Count & Examine/ Tokens Before Opening". Used to distribute tokens in the New York Subway prior to the introduction of Metro cards in 1993 and the current phasing out of metal tokens.
