This pocket watch is made of silver-colored base metal and has a simple, inexpensive, unmarked movement. The face is made of coated paper printed in red and blue "Peter Doelger/ First Prize Bottled Beer/ 'Best Beer Brewed'."

This clockwork was the movement of a pocket watch and still retains its white porcelain or enamel watch face and hands. It is brass with engine turned engraving on the back and reads "P.S. Bartlett/ Waltham, Mass." The face reads "American Watch Co."
