This woman's folding hand fan has sixteen individual oval white paper doilies with gold highlighting making up the leaf. A drawing of two women and a man in colonial dress is formed by the six center doilies. The handle has an inlay of mother-of -pearl.

This invitation is shaped like woman's folding hand fan. It is covered in green and cream colored padded cloth and trim. The front has "PC" embroidered, and the inside left reads "Promenade Concert and Reception/ on the occasion of the/ 20th Anniversary and Opening/ of the/ New Club House/ Saturday October 18th, 1884." The right side has the menu for the banquet.
