Description:
Gold Masonic pendant in the form of a compass and partial protractor with sunburst suspended from the arm of the compass, symbolic triangle on reverse of sunburst, finding at the top, with nine paste gems in a diamond beneath; fan shaped wooden case covered with brown leather with two metal hook and eye clasps along one side, the lid is lined with brown satin, the box is lined with brown velvet.

Oval brooch with painted enamel of young girl on porcelain set in gold and pearl frame, in case; brooch depicts female child in bucolic setting, gathering grapes, image surrounded with gold openwork grape vine with bunches of seed pearl grapes, hinged pin and hook on reverse; red velvet case in the shape of inverted scallop shell, with lid hinged at the back and metal clasp fastener at center front, lid is lined with light blue satin and is joined to box by light blue silk ribbon at either side near hinge, box is lined with black velvet.

Description:
Silver knee buckles with paste gems in original box; double rows of paste horizontal, single rows vertically; hinged teeth in both directions at the center; box is wooden, covered with brown leather on the outside and lined with satin on the inside, hinged lid with two hook and eye closures at the front, the bottom inside is lined with cardboard creating individual compartments for the buckles.

These knee buckles belonged to John Ramage (ca. 1748-1802), an Irish artist. He entered the Dublin School of Artists in 1763. He lived in Nova Scotia from 1772-1774, then went to Boston where he was known as a goldsmith and miniaturist. He moved to New York City in 1777, where he lived until 1794.
