Description: 
Rectangular wooden printing block (probably for textiles) with pattern carved in relief; S-shaped swag with scalloped edges, bow at center, and flowers surrounding it; surface area of swag with all over arrangement of metal spikes; indentations carved on two edges of reverse to facilitate gripping by hand.

Camera lucida, consisting of cylindrical brass column attached to one side of square brass base, with triangular prism swivel-mounted at top of column; cylindrical mount adjacent to prism holds one of two interchangeable lenses, both circular with brass fittings; parts housed in fitted case with dark brown exterior and olive green velvet lining; short, thin, unsharpened lead pencil also included.

Collection of artist's tools, materials, and fragments, together with a pair of steel rim spectacles with circular, colorless glass lenses, "C" bridge, and hinged temples with a large loop at the end; eighteen pieces in addition to the spectacles, including one oval wooden form, one oval piece of sheet metal, one oval piece of glass, one small block of stone with beveled edge, one gold colored metal tack with decorative openwork head, one small blotter with circular head and tapered wooden handle, five bundles of thin wire, two metal fragments, two wood fragments, and three paper packages, two containing gold sequins and one containing gold leaf.
