Description:
Painted (discolored) leather presentation shield presented by Lady Washington Hose No. 2 of Peekskill to Hope Hose No. 2 of Morrisania; applied star in recessed circle at top; appliquéd "2" on recessed, shield-shaped panel between lines of inscriptions on upper half (same on lower half), with painted fire engines on either side at center; wood attached to back with ring for hanging.

Description:
Brown leather fireman's duty belt; red recess in the center with applied painted leather letters reading "L[I]BER[T]Y HOSE"; red leather binding machine-sewn around outer edges; leather strap underneath one end of the belt which buckles onto metal buckle on opposite end, which is secured to the belt with two metal studs; the belt at the strap end slips into belt sleeve at the buckle end; the belt sleeve has a red shield shaped recess with the number "1" at the center.

Model of hand-drawn, hand-powered fire engine; red painted wooden wheels with metal axles support red painted wooden body with applied, gold painted scrollwork on sides and "ALWAYS / 3 / READY" painted in gold on front; pump chamber with gallery on top, columns set in indented back corners, and molded base; rounded back of pump chamber (condenser case?) with "3" in relief; cylinder painted on either side with crossed hook and ladder, helmet, and trumpet; lantern suspended in front; cord wound on spool mounted above front axle and threaded through loops in T-shaped handle at end of tongue.
