Description:
A yellow-beige trade sign from Kay Kamen, Inc., the first merchandise marketer for Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse products. It has a raised color relief of Mickey, Minnie and a lesser known character, Horace Horsecollar, popular in the 1930's and 40's, running down a street tossing four packages wrapped with yellow and green ribbons to each other, surrounded by the words "Mickey Mouse Merchandise/ Moves Quickest". Mickey and Minnie appear in their second incarnations with narrow pointy noses and black 'pie-slice' eyes with no pupils but with gloved hands. A plaque at the bottom front of the sign reads "By Special Permission/ Walt Disney Enterprises/ Kay Kamen/ Incorporated".
