This milk glass paperweight is shaped like a mantel clock. The front has a clock face with Roman numerals highlighted in gold with the handpainted words, also in gold, "Roma/ Restaurant/ 6th Ave., N.Y.". The glass has raised decoration on all sides.

It is decorated with embossed designs and on the front "First/ National/ Bank/ St. /Johnsbury/ VT" and "MATCHES". On the back is "Pats. Oct 19, 1897/ May 11 1897/ Dec 28 1897". The match striker is on the front where the matches dispense.
