Description: 
This gray metal egg was once painted silver. The egg opens on hinges at the top to hold matches and the bottom section has a relief of a man holding a cane and is embossed "Peter F. Bailey/ in a/ Country Sport/ Bijou Theatre N.Y./ 100th Performance/ March 19th 1894". The match striker is on the base.
