Crocheted purse (miser's bag) of variegated silk floss in shades of yellows and reds, with rows of metal beading from end to end, there is a slit in the center cinched with two metal rings, one end has a straight edge with metal beadwork fringe, the other end is cinched closed and has a metal beadwork tassel; a small piece of seashell was found inside.

Hinged tortoise shell card case with c-scroll and floral design on obverse and reverse, with a tortoise shell-covered metal clasp closure; when opened, there is an ivory writing surface in the center with a removable scepter-like metal pen which rests in two metal rings attached to the side of the ivory, and the inner side of the tortoise shell covers have decorative metal clips securing printed calling cards; the case is housed in its original white satin box with white velvet and satin lining.Hinged tortoise shell card case with c-scroll and floral design on obverse and reverse, with a tortoise shell-covered metal clasp closure; when opened, there is an ivory writing surface in the center with a removable scepter-like metal pen which rests in two metal rings attached to the side of the ivory, and the inner side of the tortoise shell covers have decorative metal clips securing printed calling cards.
