Fan with ivory guards and sticks with pierced, incised, and silver painted decorative motifs, and small circles of silver inlay; one side of paper leaf with silver and white printed decoration framing small, color-printed image of two women and a young girl in a garden setting, and other side with three color-printed scenes with multiple figures surrounded by orange, yellow, silver, and white scroll motifs.

These gloves belonged to Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson (1824-1863), West Point graduate and General in the Confederate Army during the Civil War.
