Description: 
Circular wooden box in the shape of a plant pot with inlaid wood of different colors, in a six pointed star design on the lid and in vertical stripes around the side. This style of decoration is known as Tunbridge ware common in England during the mid-19th century. The inside of the box is lined by a glass bowl which has remnants of a magenta powder, possibly tinting pigment.
