White, circular cardboard box with sides wrapped in blue paper and lid printed with foliaate scrolls in black ink; a paper label is pasted across the center; brown wax seal impression of William II, King of the romans and count of Holland, on brown paper with an image of a crowned lion rampant surrounded by rectangles in a crowned shield, above the shield, "ARCHIEF VAN HET PYK" in roman letters; box interleaved with white fiberous circles.

This box contains the impression of the copper Seal of William, II, King of the Romans and Count of Holland, about 1256. The origianl seal is preserved in the public Stack-paper office at the Hague.
