Battery-operated radio in wooden case; rectangular case with hinged lid; slanted front, base molding, and bracket feet; slanted part of case houses two dials, one for station selection, the other for amplification; four knobs below, including two verniers, one battery setting, and one volume control; metal plaque nailed inside lid with notice about patents; piece of cardboard nailed inside lid with battery connection instructions; accompanied by separate metal loudspeaker (Z.1838b).

Description:
Music box in rectangular wooden case with hinged lid; top of case has inlay decoration at center of two birds (lovebirds) on a branch surrounded by flowers; incised and inlaid rectangles on top and front of case; lid opens to reveal music box mechanism visible through glass door; door opens for user to select one of eight tunes and to adjust the play/stop lever. Printed card pinned to inside of top listing the titles of the eight tunes.
