Description: 
This small wooden tapering needle case dispenses different size sewing needles from little openings in the top. It is printed on the one side "Piccadilly/ patented Needle Case/ Artcle 1005", and on the reverse "Contents/ 50 assorted Needles/ Turn the Stroke on the required number and shake out the needle/ Germany". Numbers surround the top edge indicating different gauges. A turning the lid would rotate a hole around to the desired gauge compartments so only the size needed comes out when inverted. The top is missing.
