Description:
Wooden tape loom with a rectangular base with molded edge and ogee-curved ends, four turned standards with twelve vertical dowels to draw the tape through and a thick molded horizontal dowel spool with carved gear to wind the tape on to; metal nails hold body together.

Description:
Blue denim wallet-type sewing case with closure composed of two cream-colored fabric tape straps attached to front flap at the top center. Sewing case (a) opens up to three sections: sewing book at top center beneath a metal ring; three compartments in a horizontal row with accordion sides (a metal pin and needle with white thread are woven through the front of the center compartment); and one large pocket across the bottom with supplies stored inside, including: (b) six needles stored in a case made from an oval piece of brown fabric attached to a rectangle of black leather, (c) wooden spool of white thread, (d,e) two wooden spools of black tread, (f) a wooden button, (g) a rectangular piece of sandpaper, (h) a rectangular strip of cream-colored cotton fabric, and (i) a pack of cigarettes.

Description:
Green pentagonal pin cushion and sewing book with metal button closure, green silk bag attached to reverse; removing the loop from the button allows a front flap to be lifted, exposing the pentagonal sewing book of wool felt, the reverse sewing bag is opened by pulling back the upper flap and roughly follows the shape of the leather portion.

Description:
Red leather roll-up sewing case resembling an envelope bag, the top flap is scalloped, trimmed with metal edging, and has a metal clasp closing device; when unrolled, the case consists of a three-compartment case lined with green silk, the rear two pouches having accordioned sides, the front having a tabbed flap that tucks into a horizontal strap for closure; opened, there is a bodkin holder underneath the tabbed flap, and this section contains a wool felt sewing book with sewing needles, a note pad with both paper and cardboard leaves, and a place for objects to slide into silk ribbon compartments, secured with stitching to the ground and containing a pair of scissors, covered with two side flaps that fold inward.

Description:
Leather sewing case lined with red moiré, with mother-of-pearl covers on both sides, encircled with leather strap with silver clasp closure; when opened, one side has secured leather strap holder through which to slide objects (the case holds a pair of scissors, a pair of tweezers, and a bodkin), the center section secured to spine area is a note pad, the other side is a pocket with accordioned sides, with a tab closure front containing a sewing book with needles.

Rectangular wooden sewing box with flat, hinged lid, brass plaque with inscription at center of lid, curved brass mounts at corners of lid and other brass brackets attached to corners of desk with metal screws; inside of lid divided into two compartments, one covered in blue velvet; in box, shallow tray covered in blue velvet, on top of series of compartments (two lined with silver foil) containing two circular ivory jars with screw tops, one containing five jewelry findings, ivory canister (missing top), shallow circular colorless glass jar with metal top, two brass findings, four blue satin ribbon flowers, three wooden forms, one file, ivory penknife with various blades, and three jewelry-making tools; set of three compartments to side contain seven red bell-shaped ornaments, one white disk, and various metal findings.
