Marie Caroline de Trobriand was the daughter of Comte Philippe Regis de Trobriand and Mary Mason (Jones) de Trobriand, and was born in Venice, Italy. Her first husband was Albert Kintzing Post (d. 1872), whom she married in 1866. She married Charles Alfred Post, a cousin of her first husband, in 1875.

Edith Russell, the daughter of Samuel Hammond Russell of Boston, became the third wife of Sir Lyon Playfair (1819-98), the first Baron Playfair of Saint Andrews, in 1878. The Playfairs lived in England. Lady Playfair married Robert Fleming Crooks in 1901.

Elizabeth Marianita La Montagne of New York became the second wife of Francis Key Pendleton, a grandson of Francis Scott Key, in 1890.

Frances Walker, daughter of Francis Thompson Walker, New York stockbroker, was married in 1890 to Harry de Berkeley Parsons (1862-1935), a consulting engineer in New York City.

Katharine Jerome Purdy was married to Jordan Lawrence Mott, Jr. (ca. 1857-1932) on November 10, 1879, at St. Thomas's Church, New York. Her father was the founder of the J. L. Mott Iron Works, and his family had given its name to Mott Street, Manhattan, and to the Mott Haven section of the Bronx.
