Gold mourning ring in box; ring of gold band with oval oculus at center, band shoulders decorated with molded scrolling vine pattern and taper to meet narrowed band at back; dark brown hair worked into a Turk's knot beneath glass oculus inscription "CRS" on reverse; box of heavy cardboard covered with dark brown leather, lid hinged at back, metal hook and eye at center-front; box lid lined with white satin, box lined with light green velvet; cleft across the center to hold ring.
