Description: 
Black wool single-breasted Chaplain's dress coat; 1 1/4" double collar with square ends, 9 buttons down the front of the chest, 3 buttons at the bottom of closed sleeves (no cuffs); metal hook for shoulder decoration on right shoulder near collar, matching wool covered hook on left hip at the waistline; 6 panels across the back of the bodice with 2 buttons near the center of the waistline and a button at the bottom of each side of split skirt; vertical interior slit pocket at the left breast, slat interior slit pocket at the right breast, pockets lined with black linen; interior metal clasp buckle at the waistline; inside of coat lined with black silk, sleeves lined with white linen with brown and green pin stripes; all buttons covered with black silk.

Dark blue wool militia Lieutenant Colonel's dress staff coat (double-breasted); closed stand-up collar (1 hook and eye) lined with dark blue velvet; 7 buttons down the front of each side, shoulder straps on each shoulder with dark-colored ground, with metal leaf on each end; sleeves have false closed cuffs with 3 buttons each; all buttons cast with shield-breasted eagle; coat is lined with dark green twill-weave silk, with a vertical slit breast pocket on each side, sleeves lined with white twill-weave cotton.

Black wool Brigadere General Civil War army dress trousers with gilt piping down the side of each leg; button fly with 6 hidden metal buttons, button-closed pockets at the hips, suspender buttons, 2 straps at the back below the waistband which buckle at the center with rectangular metal buckle with vertical double-tongue chape; waist lined with white linen with blue and green pin stripes, white linen pockets; buttons at the inside seams at each ankle for boot strap, one side has mother of pearl and tortoise shell buttons, opposite side has 2 carved bone buttons.

Dark blue wool double-breasted Brigadere General's Civil War army dress coat with velvet collar and cuffs; 1" closed stand-up collar (1 hook and eye); shoulder straps have 1 star at the center, straps tie to the shoulders with string through 4 holes in the coat, 1 hole at each corner of the strap; 4 sets of double buttons down the chest; closed false cuffs with 3 buttons; all buttons cast with shield-breasted eagles; coat lined with dark green silk, sleeves lined with white and blue pin striped silk.

Black leather shako with slightly tapered cylindrical crown with flat top and lower edge pointed in back; angular brass visor attached to brass band secured at either side with a large button with a five-pointed star in relief; cut-out brass insignia on front with open horn with cord and tassels suspended below at eagle (may not be original); leather rosette with brass button at center above insignia; hole for pompon pierced near edge of top, adjacent to rosette; braided cord draped across back, with tassel attached to right side; textile lining.
